Soccer moms

As soccer moms, we thankslessly drive hundreds of miles, watch countless games, have every form of outerwear, sunscreen and insect repellent in the car, and can give you directions to the Dunkin Donuts closest to any given field. Coaches look askance at us if we ask about their coaching styles, and we are hearded over to the far side of the field for fear we'll be too obnoixious.

And we put up with it because our kids want to play soccer.

Soccer teaches them teamwork, keeps them in shape, and, most importantly makes them tired so when it's time for bed they don't put up too much of a fight. Besides, when they look at you and announce they're going to go pro....how can you say no? even knowing that they may want to be something completely different next month.

In this web space I'm hoping we can share some knowlege, stories, and laughs to maybe help get us through that next long drive to the next game in the rain.
